Contact Ishan (DEOXY)
How to contact Ishan (DEOXY) about software projects, technical writing, open source, and corrections.
What to send
The most reliable way to reach me is email at hello@deoxy.dev. Contact me about a software project, an open-source repository, a technical article on this site, a security concern involving one of my public projects, or a correction to my portfolio. Include the relevant URL, repository, or project name so I can understand the context without guessing.
For collaboration or paid work, a useful first message states the problem, the expected outcome, the rough timeline, and who will use the result. You don't need a polished brief. A few concrete facts are more useful than a long introduction. I may decline work that needs access to systems or data I cannot responsibly operate.
Other channels
GitHub is best for reproducible bugs and code-specific questions on a public repository. LinkedIn and X are useful for identity verification and short public messages, but email remains the canonical contact route. Do not send passwords, API keys, private customer data, or other secrets through any of these channels.
I am based in Kerala, India, in the Asia/Kolkata time zone. Replies are not automated and may not be immediate. If your message concerns a time-sensitive vulnerability, put the project name and the words 'security report' in the subject. I will confirm receipt before discussing disclosure or remediation details.
